When you create an account or buy any product on the platform you (“the Learner”) enter into a binding agreement with us on these terms.

5. The 7-day Consumer Protection cooling-off right

Under section 16 of the South African Consumer Protection Act, where the sale is concluded as a result of direct marketing or distance selling you have the right to cancel without reason within seven (7) calendar days of the date of purchase and receive a full refund. Refunds are paid into the same payment method used. Detail and procedure live in our Refund Policy.

6. Your account & conduct

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account.
  • You may not attempt to bypass exam-integrity controls, share answers, or impersonate another learner.
  • You may not extract, scrape, redistribute, resell, sub-licence or reverse-engineer any course content.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in fraud, abuse, harassment, payment chargebacks, or repeated breaches of academic integrity. In such cases, no refund is due.

7. Certificates & what they represent

Phase and final certificates issued by Pamoja confirm successful completion of structured exam-preparation curriculum aligned to public objectives published by CompTIA, EC-Council and ISC2. They do not replace the corresponding vendor certifications, which are awarded only by those vendors after their own examinations. We are pursuing CompTIA Authorised Partner, EC-Council ATC and ISC2 Authorized Provider status. Until those statuses are finalised we make no claim to be partnered with, endorsed by or affiliated with those vendors.

8. Intellectual property

All curriculum, code, designs, names and marks of Pamoja Cyber Academy are owned by Pamoja or licensed to it. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the platform and content for your personal, non-commercial learning. Vendor names referenced (CompTIA, EC-Council, ISC2 and others) are trademarks of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that any specific employment or examination outcome will follow from completing it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount actually paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or POPIA that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. We may close your account on 30 days' notice for any reason, or immediately for material breach of these terms.
